"I Must Have Flowers, Always Always" ~ Monet

March 2020 -- the first signs of spring are peeking out in oby!

Ice Plant from AZ
Debbie Curtis gave me a part of her Ice Plant a couple of summers ago while we were all at ACRV in Wichita.  It really thrived and grew.  I eventually separated it, putting some of it in the ground and some in pots. I wasn't too sure how this beauty would winter in this humid climate.  The parts that were in pots didn't do too well.  But the ones that I put in the ground have created a beautiful ground cover around one of our pine trees.  Thx, Debbie!

Crowpoison

Wild Geranium

Henbit

I think it has personality

Dandelion

False Dandelion

Jonquils

Rose

Wood Sorrel

Rosebud

Japanese Fringe Tree

Wild Violets are throughout the yard

My Ozark friend, Sherryl Walker makes the most beautiful salads with these violet blossoms and young leaves, along with Redbud blooms.

The Hyacinths are popping up.  I'll be watching for the purple!

David and I stopped at the downtown Texarkana post office today to get pics of this gorgeous "Tulip Tree"

These are popping all over town

Everyone in this area know them as Tulip Trees

However, they are Saucer Magnolias
