Wedding Rehearsal & Lingerie Shower

10-22-15:  David and I made it into Texarkana from Wichita this afternoon and got to the Collins Bldg in time for the wedding rehearsal.  How exciting!! Laura, Mann, Amy, Betty Sue, Gus, Cranford, and Kathey just pulled it all together.  It's going to be perfect!  Supposed to rain, but it'll still be perfect!

I kinda started hitting me at this point.

The handsome best man and ring bearer.

Our little Laura Lee and her "best Mann".

The historic Collins Bldg is a beautiful venue for our happy occassion.  It was originally built in the late 1920's by Texarkana philanthropist, Ben Collins, as an "assisted living" for women.  The name of the bldg is still etched in concrete on the front: "Ben and Jane Collins Home for Women".  I remember going Christmas caroling there as a kid with our Central Christian Church group.

High school friend, Betty Sue kept everything going smoothly

We enjoyed some good ole Mexican food afterwards with the bride, groom, best man, and flower girl.

10-23-15:  David and I met Amy and Hannah at the Collins Bldg today to get the decorating started.

Then tonite, the girls had a lingerie shower for Lou Lou at Olive Garden.

Amy has done sooooo much these last 3 weeks to make it all come together.  Then, at the shower she was the last one to get hold of the salad bowl.

Laura was hesitant to hold up the sexy stuff in public.  Not me.

Aunt Pam gave her a "sock monkey" onesie with the feet in them.

Laura and Amy:  besties since 2nd grade!

After the shower, Amy, Hannah, Edie, and I headed back to the Collins Bldg to work on the reception room. Laura wasn't allowed to help with this.  She told Amy what she wanted, then Amy put it together and wanted it all to be a surprise for her. Like an artist at work.

So proud of these 2 girls.  They have excellent taste, stayed strong with their budget, and worked like trojans to make it happen!

Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!!!  Woohoo!!!
